Editorial Photography
This lecture gives clear, practical advice relevant for anyone either starting or finishing a photography course, giving an overview of editorial photography: magazines, newspapers, contract publishers and books. Subjects covered include how to approach publications, fees, lead-in times, contracts, how different departments function etc. The format of the lecture is to give real examples from many years of experience working in the industry. First year students will benefit from being given clear information about how to get ahead and succeed, for final year students this lecture is essential. |
